I’m walking, skipping and occasionally stumbling, through life finding ways of living more economically, cleanly and err… less “chemical-ly”.  I’d like to pass on tips and insights I’ve discovered along the way that you may find useful or indeed interesting.

I recently lost about 2.5 stone (about 34lbs) in weight, then put another 7lbs but am now back on track.  I lost the weight through the Harcombe Diet which essentially helps you to work out why you overeat and get control of any cravings that can derail your weightloss efforts.   I am also interested in Paleo and Primal eating too, so completely open to new ideas but love the fact that after years of accepting that fat is bad, I’m now enjoying natural fat in meat, fish and eggs and olive oil and very rarely have low fat anything.  Yay.

I’m also a mum and hell-bent on finding DIY fixes for the toxic life we lead, especially household cleaning and beauty products to be kinder to our skin, our world,  and our bank balances.
